Max pointed his bottle at her. “And make the passionate parts more powerful.”

Devlin talked to the guys. “I’m thinking of strings and piano to start, giving a false sense of security, drums when the BDSM stuff comes in, then back to tenderness and a softer sound to show everything worked out all right.”

“God yeah.” Jacquie pressed her hand to her throat. “That’s awesome. Exactly what a woman wants.”

Devlin gave her a crooked grin. “You should know.”

She did, pleased he’d given her an opening for what she needed to say. “Actually, I think I can be a big help with your ideas while you’re here.”

  Max chuckled. “That’s the plan.”

But not what she was getting at. Her bravery collapsed.

Andy leaned closer and squinted. “Something wrong?”

Yeah. If she didn’t make a move, they might not. She gripped her wineglass, needing something to hold onto. “I had a thought about tonight.”

  They nodded and waited.

It wasn’t easy to say the words, but she had to. This was her one and only chance. “In order to fully appreciate what a woman experiences in a club like this, which you’re using as your prototype, you need to witness the woman’s reactions firsthand and ask her about them later. That isn’t possible in a typical setting, like if you’re on a date or hooking up with a stranger here.”

  Andy spoke first. “A stranger?”

  “Yeah, someone other than me.”

  They looked clueless.

She inhaled as deeply as she could and soldiered on. “To help you guys out, and because I enjoy what goes on here… I want you to play Dom to my sub.”

  Chapter 2

Devlin, Max and Andy stared, offering no other reaction to Jacquie’s lewd proposal.

Even the bar music paused, as did the conversations beyond the beaded lights. Or so it seemed.

Her pulse alone sounded in her head, a steady thump, thump, thump, louder than a jackhammer. Rarely had she felt as vulnerable or foolish, but she couldn’t go back. Didn’t want to. Having the guys’ touch, strength, warmth and passion consumed her, turning her insides to goo.

  Say something, dammit.

  Andy finally blinked.

Max and Devlin glanced at each other, their faces telling her nothing. Certainly not whether they thought she was joking or worse—they considered dominating and punishing her then fucking until they collapsed too god-awful to stomach.

Heat stung her cheeks and throat. Her stomach churned.

She stood and swayed, unsteady from the stilettos and her embarrassment.

Andy reached out to help her.

Too late. She needed to run, but couldn’t get her legs to work. Damn. Exasperation outstripped her unease, her irritation more at herself than them. Recalling what Bree said about being what every man should want, Jacquie entered survival mode, an eerie calm settling over her. “Guess I was wrong about you guys and what you’d like.” Her words proved steady despite her still-racing heart. “If you don’t want to—”

“Hold on.” Max shot to his feet, followed by Devlin and Andy. “I—we—didn’t say that. It’s just—”

  “What?” She advanced.

No one else budged or seemed to breathe.

She wasn’t doing too well on that front either. Upon reaching Max, she cupped his face. Heat barreled through her at his bristly cheeks and size, lean yet muscular, male to the nth degree. Her mouth watered and her heart yearned. She stroked his bottom lip.

He inhaled sharply, his lids fluttering.

So he wasn’t immune to her charms.

Thrilled, she nestled closer, her boobs to his pecs, thighs joined, pussy snug against his rigid cock. Crazy good and reassuring. Nothing on this planet could match him wanting her, except the others doing the same. Feeling playful, she stroked his neck. “You don’t like this? Or this?” She fitted her mouth to his.

  He froze.

She speared her tongue between his lips.

A growl erupted from him, quivering his chest.

Her nipples peaked. She pushed closer.

So did he, wrapping his arm around her, one hand smack on her ass, the other on her throat, lifting her face to his.

  Taking charge.

Yes, yes, yes! Lost in his male power, she melted against him and suckled his tongue, enjoying his fresh taste, his youth and good health evident.

A more primitive sound burst from him, his embrace intensifying, verifying his need. He pushed her tongue from his mouth and filled hers instead, his desire keeping her from making a sound.

Their kiss turned savage, the kind new lovers indulge in. Yet, an unexpected familiarity made their passion comfortable and safe as if they were also friends.

She’d like that, but wouldn’t push. This was about having fun.

Nerve endings fired, her skin tingling. Time stopped and the world drifted away, only their pleasure registering, his fragrance filling her, his strength encouraging her to submit.

She allowed him to enjoy her as she did the same to him. But she still had Andy and Devlin to consider. Neglecting them wasn’t something she could do.

With more will than Jacquie knew she owned, she pulled her mouth from Max’s.

His lips were damp from her. He panted.

So did she. Leaving him was the hardest thing she’d ever do, but she eased back.

A frown touched his dark eyes.

She cradled his cheek. “That’s only the beginning.”

Devlin caught her wrist, lust hardening his features. “You and I haven’t even begun.” He gathered her to him.

Resisting wasn’t something she could manage.

They fit perfectly. Woman to man. Dom to sub.

He cupped her ass and pulled her against his erect dick, his smile coarse, a male animal in his prime, knowing what a female not only wanted but required.

Never had she imagined a moment like this. Breathing wasn’t possible, thinking hopeless. A pulse beat deep within her pussy, her sex wanting more.

Unable to deny herself, she slipped her arms around his shoulders and parted her lips.

He filled her quickly and well, his tongue plunging as deep as possible, demanding everything she had to give.

  Nothing else would do.

They ground against each other, replicating a hard fuck, their hearts beating as one, their heat melding.

He held her tighter, imprisoning her for his desire, a glutton who’d take what he could… while also thrilling her.

The room dipped and swayed, her dizziness increasing. She held onto him, requiring his big body to keep on her feet.

He angled his mouth for greater penetration, his kiss bruising and insatiable, his taste different from Max’s but as fine.

  Precisely what she required.

Limp yet edgy, she seesawed between the two feelings until her lungs burned. Needing air and to tend to Andy, she tore her mouth free.

Devlin rested his forehead against hers and breathed hard.

Lucky him. She had trouble sucking in any air.

Lightheaded as hell, she staggered from him to Andy. “Hey.”

His smile lit up his face. He stroked her arms. “Hi.”

“We’re talking too much.” She claimed his mouth.

He moaned and eased her close, more romantic than the others, but his hold on her as firm. He wasn’t about to let her go.

Nor would she do so to him. She slipped her arms around his torso and breathed him in, like the love song he penned.

Beer scented his breath. He tasted minty, possibly from toothpaste, his clean fragrance and tenderness undoing her.

His kiss explored rather than demanded, its power as great as Max’s and Devlin’s more commanding ways. She needed both sides of a man, giving and dominant. Andy provided the perfect mixture. The others would too.

Something coiled within her, excitement building, pleasure hardening her nipples and constricting her pussy, heat settling there,
creating a dull ache only a man could relieve.

She snuggled closer, drawn to Andy’s hard body, as sinewy as the others’.

He used her mouth well, his desire mounting and growing wild, their kiss rough and greedy, his hand on her breast, hers on his tight ass.

Too much and not enough, the contradiction overwhelming, depleting her strength.

She sagged against him, unable to support her weight.

He finished their kiss and stroked her back, her face to his neck. She licked it.

His chuckle rumbled in his chest. “You good?”

  “Mmm.”

  Throat clearing sounded behind them.

Aw, Devlin and Max were jealous. She could live with their feelings as long as they were fleeting and didn’t affect their friendship with Andy.

After patting his butt, she pulled away and faced her three men. “You guys ready for wicked fun?”

Not waiting for their answer, she left the private area, expecting—and hoping—they’d follow.

When Jacquie first suggested playing sub to Max’s Dom, he wasn’t certain how to react, but not because he wasn’t interested in the prospect. The beast in him would have jumped her in Bree’s office if such behavior had been possible.

He figured Bree would have crushed his nuts and sent him on his way since Jacquie deserved better from a guy.

No way would he argue the point. She was surprisingly genuine in a world fooled by fake beauty and intentions. Nothing like the usual groupies he encountered.

Each step she took made her sweet ass tremble, her dress clinging to her like water after skinny-dipping. A magnificent sight.

He liked her looks. Her almond-shaped eyes were exotic, the nose stud kickass, her plush lips screaming an innocence he found charming. A contradictory image he hadn’t been certain how to take… and then she hit him with her bombshell proposition and kiss.

His already-stiffened cock hardened further, his skin stinging. If his balls got any plumper, he’d be screaming for relief.

Having her in his arms was like nothing he’d experienced in recent memory. Although tall for a woman, she was narrow and remarkably delicate, her arms slender, shoulders narrow. His burgeoning lust had frightened him. He’d feared he’d crush her and kept holding back.

Each time he had, she grew bolder, giving him no quarter.

Even though an internal alarm should have gone off as to her ultimate goal in this, he trusted she desired him simply because she did. For once, there wasn’t a hidden motive involving his wealth or what he could do for her. As a world-weary cynic, he would have recognized deception in her passion or seen the truth in her eyes.

She looked at him without guile, unvarnished interest and affection shining through. Her tinkling laughter aroused him faster than hardcore porn, the sound honest, never forced.

If he’d needed more proof concerning her integrity, she was Bree’s assistant and no way would Bree set him up for a fall. Her honesty and professionalism were no secret. She wasn’t into Machiavellian plots and wouldn’t hire someone who was.

  Still…

Jacquie had too easily knocked him off his game, and Max wasn’t certain he liked that. Being vulnerable to any woman then getting used and dumped wasn’t his dream scenario.

  She slowed and glanced over.

His heart made a funny twist, which proved surprisingly pleasant. He grinned.

Her questioning look evaporated, replaced by a yearning smile. Again, she picked up her pace.

He followed, no different from a lovesick puppy. Because he was horny. That. Was. It. He hadn’t played hard with any woman for weeks. The new album and concert dates had kept him busier than he wanted. Tonight would be a nice respite. They’d screw, have a good time and part as friendly acquaintances never to bump into each other again.

Gloom overtook him. Perspiration ran down his back. Because he was tired, that’s all, and sweating from the beer he didn’t finish. Emotions hadn’t caused this.

They left the bar, Andy close on his heels, Devlin passing him.

Max yanked Devlin back. “Easy, cowboy.” He spoke loud enough for Devlin to hear him over the conversation and music but low enough to keep Jacquie in the dark. “We’re equals in this. Got it? No jumping the line.”

“Yeah?” Devlin spoke equally low. “Who died and made you first?”

“The band was my idea.” He, Devlin and Andy had met as kids at a teenage hangout in LA. They clicked and the rest was history. “I’m the frontman.”

  Devlin rolled his eyes.

Prick. “Fine. None of us is first. We let Jacquie decide who she wants and in what order. Can you live with that?” He bumped Devlin’s arm. “Say yes, because you don’t have a choice.”

Devlin curled his upper lip, but didn’t speed walk to get to her side.

Andy joined them. “Play nice with Jacquie. I mean it.”

As if they’d do anything less. Max nodded then elbowed Devlin. He bobbed his head.

Rather than going to the second or third floor where Bree indicated the serious action took place, Jacquie led them past the immense dining room. Women dressed in slinky gowns and guys in suits enjoyed their meals beneath sparkling chandeliers. Mouthwatering scents from beef, pork, fish and other fare wafted into the hall.

Never had Max been less interested in food.

Andy leaned in, hand cupped to his mouth to quiet his voice further. “Where are we going?”

Max hadn’t a clue and lifted his shoulders.

Devlin glanced around. “We’re not leaving the club, are we?”

The entrance was behind them. “I can’t see how.”

Each step brought them deeper into the building, the crowd thinner here, everyone still dressed. Not a good sign. Maybe he should ask what she had planned.

She stopped at a door and opened it. “In here.”

The wood-paneled hall proved wide, electric candles in holders illuminating the space, though not too much. The way a bedroom should be when a man wanted to show a woman a romantic evening.

Jacquie looked over at them. “You might want to use this for your album video. It really sets a mood.”

Max wasn’t following. “You mean this hall? Having the guy chase the woman down it?”

She laughed, this one throatier than her previous ones.

His balls twitched, wanting her hands and mouth on them.

“Maybe.” She looked back at him. “But that wasn’t what I meant. Here we are.” She’d reached another door. “This is our newest attraction. We’ll be the first to use it.”

Max, Devlin, and Andy stepped forward at the same time, jostling each other.

She held up her finger in a scolding manner, though amusement glittered in her eyes. “No need to rush. We have all night.”

Who cared? Max wanted to get this show on the road.

Given how Andy and Devlin pushed against him, they did too.

Jacquie opened the door and gestured them inside.

Max couldn’t take one step, his legs too weak. In his wildest fantasy, he wouldn’t have predicted this.

Rather than a room, he faced a gazebo, the sides fully glass, tiny white lights strung on the metal frame, the scene romantic yet decadent.

A huge iron bed dominated the space, the mattress large enough for four or more adults. A bedframe similar in design to the gazebo rose vertically, coming to a point at the top. Chains and manacles dangled from there.

  His chest tightened.

Additional shackles lay at either end on the mattress, everything in white, including the sheets, pillows, frame, the sink and towels to the side. Amazing, but not the full story.

The gazebo rested on a hill overlooking the Pacific on one side, the club on the other. There, a glass wall faced them. Guests gathered, some sitting in individual chairs, others on sofas, holding opera glasses to view what occurred in this space between Jacquie, him, Andy and Devlin.

Max’s surprise deepened. So did his craving.
>
Ready to fuck, he followed Jacquie inside, his cock hard, his passion and need crushing.

Few things in life caught Devlin off-guard. His mother abandoning him to foster care when he was five—while also promising to return but never doing so—had clued him in to how the world worked. Expect the unexpected. However, if it was something good, don’t hold your breath waiting.

This area—and Jacquie—challenged his belief system.

Fragile light grazed her, sparkling off her hair, eyes, earrings, and lush mouth. Her complexion shone, dewy as fuck.

He bet her skin was softer than a petal and tasted better than prime rib.

The voyeurism was a nice touch. The irons too. Tunes played in his head, heavy on percussion, an occasional husky sax thrown in.

His clothing chafed, feeling too tight. The damn leather made him sweat. He should have chosen something less restrictive. If he didn’t strip soon…if she didn’t…

He stepped deeper into the gazebo.

Max stood in his way and glanced over at him, warning in his eyes.

Bastard. Still, Devlin held back. He was eager to begin, not clueless. Jacquie should choose what came next or first. It was her turf, her game.

Despite his galloping pulse and aching dick, he put on his good boy act and examined the numerous manacles, the towels, sink, bed, her ass, boobs…

  Andy cleared his throat.

Tonight, everyone played cop. Taking the high road, Devlin circled to the other side and waited for her cue to begin.

Jacquie regarded them, mischief in her eyes. “Think this might work for your songs?”

  “Yeah.” They’d spoken as one.

“I’m glad.” She lifted her face, taking in the glass ceiling, stars by the dozen twinkling in the night sky, a fat moon shining down on them. “Bree’s really excited about this.” Jacquie fingered her gown on the side. “I did the research.” She lowered her zipper. “I’m proud to say much of what you see here was my idea.”

The gown fell away from her breasts, the globes snowy white, tips rosy.

Devlin’s throat constricted. He ached to yank off his clothes but wasn’t certain if he should. Max and Andy had put the fear of Jacquie into him. What the hell did she want?
